What Keywords do your competitors use?

Seeing what keywords are using in AdWords can reveal what is bringing in the customers. You can have an endless list of keywords, but amongst this sea of data only a handful are bringing in customers.

To get a head start to see what your competitirs are using to get in their leads there are two tools that you can use. One big and one small.

Tool number one: AdGooro

Find your competitors' keywordsAdGooroo keeps continuous track of every AdWords ad run in Google. It does this by having srevers located in all the coutries that it tracks.  As a result you can find out what keyword is being used by your competitor and what they are spending the most money on. Your competitor isn't stupid. There are valuable lessons to be learnt from what he is doing on line. The trail of breadcrumbs he leaves behind is detectable by using this AdWords tool.

Countries covered outside the US are: Russia, UK, Germany, France, India, China, Australia, Mexico, Brazil, The Netherlands and others.

Google comes standard. If you want to to track Bing, Yahoo and Baidu you'll need their Enterprise edition. There seems to be no word about Yandex on their site, but I am sure they're working on that, seeing as they've pretty much understood what it takes to give advertisers what they need as a standard AdWords tool.

Tool number two: PPC Webspy

Find what Keywords your competitors are using

PPC Webspy is similar in data gotten, however it is restricetd to UK and US AdWords data. Their landing page is a bit convoluted.

However, if your PPC market is strictly the US, this tool is great. It can be tried for free for up to 10 keywords per competitor. Which is actually a great way of learning how to use this type of tool.

Start with this one and see if it gives you enough data.
